Awesome Titles

Good titles are the most important thing to consider when writing an article. It is the number one factor that determines the amount of readers the article attracts and how much the reader will read the content of the article. Readers do not usually click on titles which do not catch their interest and make them curious, even if they have really interesting and useful content under them. As there are lots of articles available on a certain niche, only titles can beat the competition.

To write catchy articles, first of all, it is important that the audience of the article is determined. The title should be written with respect to the target audience. The factors, which should be considered are demographic factors.

After considering the target audience, the next thing to consider is the content and the purpose of the article. If the purpose, of the article is to convince the reader to buy something, or do something then the titleshould convey this purpose. For example, if the article is about hair loss product with the purpose to convince the reader to buy it, than the article title can be “get (hair loss product name) and solve all your hair problems”. These types of catchy phrases draw the readers and make them read it. Other phrases can be “get it for free”, “find the secrets”, “instant results” etc. The article title should convey a benefit and should have words, which might make the reader curious to know more. However, writing something in the title that is not possible like “make millions in a month” or “make money by just clicking on the mouse” does not attract the reader.

Article titles should be in simple English and should not have any complicated words as they never attract the reader. If the reader does not understand the words in the title, he/she is unlikely to click and read further. So it is a good idea to keep the thesaurus away for a while and use the

language that is used every day. The article title should not have any punctuation also as it does not give a good impression. The title must be in bold letters and should include the keywords of the article in a sentence.

You should try to give the reader a glimpse of the whole article from the title. You should never write a title which is not relevant to the article. Many writers write catchy article titles like “lose your weight in 20 days” but do not write anything that tells how to do that in the article. This will immediately draw the reader away through the website.

It is an exceptionally good idea to write a question in the article title. For example, if the article is about acne solution, then the title can be “do you have acne? Find its solution”. These titles really attract the reader. However, questions do not always work best, and they should be used only some times. The article title should not be very long as long titles do not magnetize the reader and they feel bored. Instead, use a catchy and attention grabbing title that is short and free of errors and also has simple language.
